Richard Jones is a management consultant with a specialty of providing management services to the development sector in the Caribbean. He is a graduate of the University of the West Indies holds both a BSc. Sociology and Politics and a Masters in Project Management and Evaluation. He previously worked with the Caribbean Policy Development Centre (CPDC) for 15 years and has consulted with national, regional and international organizations.
Richard specializes in capacity building and institutional strengthening of development organizations. More specifically, his areas of expertise include development research, strategic planning, operational planning, resource mobilization, programme development, proposal writing and organizational streamlining; his consultancy experience includes working on assignments funded by the Inter-American Development Bank, PricewaterhouseCoopers (France and London), British Department for International Development, Government of Barbados and the UN system.
Mr. Jones has lectured at the University of the West Indies, Open Campus and has sat on Boards providing policy direction in the private, public and non-profit sector.
