She has provided leadership as head of HR at the Almond Beach Club, the Royal Westmorland Golf, Resort and Real Estate Development, the Grantley Adams International Airport Inc. and the Sandy Lane Hotel in Barbados. Her involvement as project leader in the Airport Service Quality programme, led to the Grantley Adams International Airport receiving “Best Airport Awards” for 2009/2010. Yvette is a past President of the Human Resources Management of Barbados and the conference Chair for several years.

Yvette is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, holding a BSc. Applied Sociology. She is also a graduate of the New School for Social Research where she obtained a MSc. Human Resources Management and post graduate diplomas in Training and Development and Organizational Development. Yvette is fully trained in Alternative Dispute Resolution and is Talent + and Myers Briggs Type Indicator Certified.    

Yvette has tutored at the University of the West Indies for over 10 years. She currently offers her services as a consultant in the above mention areas as well as lectures on-line courses for the Cave Hill School of Business.
